1st Page uses a *.dct dictionary which is a fairly standard third party product. So we have to trick 1st Page into using a Spanish Dictionary. This is what you can do:
1) Go here (http://www.addictive.net/dicts.html) and download the spanish dictionary.
2) unzip it to the 1st Page directory
3) rename ENGLISH.dct to ENGLISH.dct.bak
4) rename SPANISH.dct to ENGLISH.dct
5) run 1st Page and . . . Ole, ahora habla espanol

Thanks DE,
I have downloaded the Spanish dictionary and find out a better way to install:
1. Unzip the dictionary into any folder of your chose.
2. Open 1st page and in an untitled page in the edit mode write in de body any word you know is wrong.
3. Use the Check Spelling... sub menu from the tools menu
4. Whe the windows of check spellings open, choose the option button.
5. Choose Add from the Main Dictionaries window
6. Browse your hard drive to the folder where the new dictionary was unzziped and add it.
Now you can have Spell Checking functions in both languages. 1st page do it very well.

Even better - thats what these forums are for - when you help someone - they are just as likely to help you back.
Any one knows if this dictionary can be found anywhere else? Adictive.net seems to be out of bussines....
I really need a spanish dictionary! :(
