Hey guys...
I may be missing something, but when I make changes or add
text in Design View, it will refresh the page and take my cursor
to a new spot.
And when I check the source code, none of the new text or anything
shows up.
I don't mind working in the source view, but it is nice to format text and
add things in Design view.
Am I missing something?

The software is extremely buggy and it would be wise not to use the design mode. Although there may be others here that have found ways to work around the bugs.

All the bugs I have been hearing seems to me this should have never been released fully yet.
The worst part is, the software has not been looked at for almost one year. Sorry to hear that you have an issue which is frustrating, have you tried html-kit?

Hello,
thanks for the reply... haven't seen html-kit. I downloaded NVU and looks good so far.
Do you think it is worth trying to get a refund? I love working in the Design mode and if it doesn't work, doesn't seem worth the $80 or so I spent.
thanks!

I gave up on FP2006 when I found HTML-Kit, does everything I want. If you want a WYSIWYG interface then keep with NVU (but that also has seen no development for over a year...).
Still keep an eye on these forums to see what is happening, looks like not a lot!

Kompozer has evolved as a temporary package, fixing bugs in Nvu, until Nvu can be further developed.
Kompozer available at http://kompozer.net/

Well if anyone wants a Design mode software, save up for Dreamweaver. You will never look back and have to wait for features again. IMO its the only design view software that is truly design view.
HTML-Kit from chami is good for just editing code and I have tried NVU before, but after trying so many out, settled on saving many pennies up and then purchased Dreamweaver three years ago.
Start saving now and maybe even skip DW8 and go for the next version of Dreamweaver being release in May or so of next year, concurrently with CS3. (Or so that's what I've heard.)
