When I try to startup First Page 2006 (version 3 Professionel) in Windows XP with a restricted account (guest account), then First Page 2006 stops loading when writing:
Loading Ultra S/R engine...
When using my administrator account in Windows I have no problems to startup First Page 2006. But what do I do if I want to run the program from a restricted account in Windows?
Thanks in advance...

you need admin permissions to run FP 2006

I have been running 2006 Pro since shortly after it came out. Just yesterday it (July 16, 2007) froze at the dreaded "Loading Ultra S/R engine" splash screen.
I have admin rights and have had no problem loading it until now. Uninstalling and reinstalling has not corrected the problem.

Solution!
Thanks to seeing this suggestion in another post, I went to the Evrsoft folder and ran "Reset Layout and Toolbars" and that solved the problem. Took a minute or two to load, but at least it loaded.

After installing 1stpage with an administrator account, the program wants to use
c:\program files\evrsoft first page 2006\
to read and write user data. Restricted accounts can't write data here.
(Unfortunatelly 1stpage does not use the application data section in
\documents and settings
what is intended to avoid exactly this problem)
A bit rough work around is to give the restricted account full acces to
c:\program files\evrsoft first page 2006\
This can be done through the administrator account, using the tab security in 'properties'.
XP home users can enter the administrator account only when XP is started in Safe Mode.
