Hi.
I'm a 1stPage enthusiast user, but I think that v.3.0 release delayed too much (2 years!!!!)
Today are available a lot of HTML editors, high quality interfaces and dozen of fully-customizable plugins (like HTML-Kit).
Can 1stPage III reach today's HTML software developers quality? I hope so!

I'm very interesting in 1stPage technology, but new version need to come soon... before it's too late!
(My English is too bad, I'm sorry!)

I think even a simple bugfix of FP2000 would work to make it one of the best out there. I've tried other stuff, but I just keep coming back to FP2000!

BTW, will FP3 have good PHP syntax highlighting? If you need some help, I know of a great system.

same here. ive tried a few newer html editors and none of them could compare to 1st page.

id say the only other html editor i would use is dreamweaver mx but i realy hate the wysiwyg crap it has built in. it makes the whole application too complicated for me to want to deal with.

Ehi!
I love 1st Page too and I think that I'll use it anyway, but I'd like to taste version III !!!
1st Page III was delayed too much, or not?

the truth of the matter is that the orig.... while great, had some important bugs and lacked a few key features (ex. Global Extended search and replace).

I'll definitely come back and give FP a try when the new version is released, but in the meantime, I shelled out for HomeSite -- which is BY FAR the best editor for Windows I have ever seen.

Happy coding,
TD

I've tried Homesite (as well as all of them), and I found FP is the best--for me, that is.

well, that may be true of HS 4, but 5.0 is just absolutely fantastic. If you have the dough and can't wait for FPIII, then this will rock your world.

Happy coding,

Homesite was pretty good when I looked at it, I had a gripe with system resource useage mind in the version I used.

Hi.
I'd want to give a chance to Evrsoft, I think that 1stPage III could be an interesting code editor fotr developers.
But, I could replace it for Html-Kit: Homesite is good, but "Chami" developers created a very interesting community for programmers, and published dozens of useful plugins in their portal.
See you. :)

The only thing im not looking forward to is downloading it when the entire internet is trying to...I have a 28.8 and things like that tend to get a little comical after a while...
