Unix/Windows File Format

I seem to remember that if a file contained CR only that 1st page would show a little drop down box with Windows and unix in it for saving. This feature has disappeared for me and now it converts it to windows and saves only in the windows format :mad:

How do I get that back. I have tried uninstalling, followed by regclean, reboot, and reinstall but it still doesn't come back.

If sanyone else is having this problem try the following:

Set internet explorer as your default browser...
Try it now...
Set your REAL browser as default again...
Try it again...

that should fix it

Yup, this cured the problem for me too, it also fixed another problem which was that FireFox showed gaps between my images that should not have been there.

A result, I am guessing, of the wrong line break format (windows as opposed to Unix format)

I removed internet explorer as my default browser, and set FireFox as my only external browser, and this did the trick.

How odd!
