Domain name renewal

The first domain name that I bought will be due for renewal in February. I bought it from Nominet, as it's a .uk domain.

Their website and notes on the back of the certificate say that "your ISP will probably remind you to renew". I don't understand this - my sites aren't hosted with my ISP, and I didn't buy the domain through them, how would they even know I have a domain name?

Nominet don't seem to have any way to renew online, so I'd be glad of advice from all you experts on renewing a domain name.

And why do I always type "doamin" instead of "domain"? :rolleyes:

Phone the company you bought the domain from and ask them what to do. AFAIK most companies should remind you that you need to renew because it means they'll earn more money... =)
