I have had problems when starting 1st Page in my Windows 2000 machine. Upon starting the program, I get a pop-up window that is entitled "1stPage.exe - No Disk" and reads "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk1\DR1." The message repeats when I select the "Try Again" or "Continue" buttons, but clears and 1st Page will run fine when I click the "Cancel" button. Any help to resolve this startup problem would be appreciated.

I've noticed this problem too, never found a way to fix it though.

I have the same problem. I tried several re-installs, without succes !
I think it's a bug in the exe-file.
BTW I am working with windows 2000

I have the same problem. Am also running Win2K. It doesn't stop my using the program, however. I simply have to click "continue" 5 times, then the program starts and runs normally.
The least offensive bug I've found in any software :p
I got First Page about three weeks ago and it worked on a W2K installation with no Disk Error message.
That computer died and I downloaded First Page onto a new XP system. I see the same thing that others in this thread are seeing. Clicking "Continue" a few times gets past the error and everything else seems to work as before.
Strange.

Yes, I get the same problem. When starting 1st Page 2000, it comes up with the error window (There is no disk on the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk1\DR1.
After clicking on Continue or Cancel five times, the program starts up.

Ray's solution to this problem worked for me! Check his post in the "Drive not accessible" thread, or just read this...
"When I install the 1st Page 2000, I put on c: drive (which is default drive).
If you install to another other drive,(e.g. D:), make sure you install before the CDrom drive, not after. Most program search from c: to last letter of drive.
If your CDrom drive is D:, you will have to reconfigure your CDrom drive letter to another drive letter. Mostly c: and d: are reserved for hard drive(s). Try putting on e: or f:. If you have zip drive, it should be last letter after CDrom.
Good luck
Ray"
So basically, install on C: if possible, or else make sure that you put it on a drive which has a drive letter BEFORE yer cdrom drive.
Cheers Ray :D
