I know how to add sound to my site, but I don't want to use my voice. The reason is because my microphone records stuff, but when I play back the sound it has some static. Is there a way to use a voice already in the computer???

I want it to say "Hi, my name is Kevin. Welcome to my Website. I hope you learn something about me you didn't know!!! ."

You have to have the microphone very close to your mouth and the gain set just right. This minimizes the pickup of static.

Depending on your sound card and associated recording applications you may or may not be able to do prover level setting.

Right-click on you speaker volume control on your taskbar and chose "Adjust Audio Properties" You may have acces to a Vu-meter style recording level control. As I said, it depends on what came with your sound card. Yous should at least be able to set your levels by trial and error. Remember to do a mono recording to keep quality high and file-size small.
