For those of us who prefer the simplicity of Arachnophilia 4.0 (http://www.arachnoid.com/arachnophilia/index_old.html). I have a pleasant surprise for you.
I've recently begun to dislike the default template because it would use an HTML 3.2 doctype declaration and <body> tag to define the styles. So using arachnophilia's simple customizable system, I altered the template file to correspond with my personal preferences. Take a look at the features of the new template.
- HTML 4.0 Strict Doctype added
- CSS framework added
- Body styles are now determined using CSS rather then <body>
- <h1> and <h2> appearances are now defined using CSS by using the users link color as their color: and border: attributes.
- The links are underlined only when the user hovers the mouse over them.
- The document's heading now corresponds with the documents <title>
- A very simple layout has been created.
------------------------
To install this new template,
1) Download the attachment
2) Navigate to the Program Files/Arachnophilia/templates/ directory and back up your old template.html file by renaming it template.html.old
3) Copy the downloaded template.html.txt file into your /templates/ directory as template.html .
-----------------------------------------
Have fun with your new template, and remember that you can use Arachnophilia to edit the contents of the template if you dont like my design. :D
