This is my site. I have done all of the HTML myself (self-taught). I have many projects that I want to do with it so it's growing and expanding everyday (or as I have time).
I am also looking to open my own dotcom so I'll be getting around to that in due time also.
I just want to promote my site and get people to check it out, tell me what they think, give me idea's of ways to imrpove it, or some changes that could use to be made. If people hate it, tell me, if they like it, tell me.
Thanks and I hope you enjoy the visit,
Adam aka Vicissitude

P.S. I have also just recently developed an animated GIF that I will be creating a "banner" for. I haven't gotten the banner code made yet, but when I do, I will be passing it on to anyone who may want to add a link to my site from thier site. I am not looking to do any "charges" for banner trading, I figure, you put mine on yours, I'll put yours on mine.

Ummm... This is hard. Okay, you can start off by taking that "My Bio" pic out of the front page. It gave me an uncomfortable feeling, but I guess thats just me. But what I really recommend is making those buttons in the bottom nav all gifs. With Jpeg the black in the background gets too much artifacts and makes the black a gray. It is really a waste anyways. Gif makes it better quality and probably smaller file size. You should also consider making those buttons around the same size. And if you are going to keep those buttons, you don't need the text nav on the top side.
If you are going to keep the text nav don't put that animated background. For one, only if the words are big will it show much animation, and for two, I don't like it. It doesn't look good.
As for the eyes in the front page take that mouse over pic out. You already have a link for gallery, we don't need another picture thats too big in size and file size. Consider taking out the background, or giving the table a black background. It may get difficult to read, especially since the background has close to white streaks. If you want the background still and want to see all of it, try a semi-transparent background. Have a black dot visible and make another dot transparent. It should help with reading the text.
On the links page the two backgrounds are all too horrible to stand to look at very long. Remove them please. Pics or gallery page try just to keep the film background and remove the red dimond background.
And on most pages the Green FreakWerks title with many red backgrounds is not very easy to see. Do whatever you want with that. Remove it or change color or whatever.
And maybe since most of the pages have black background you should keep all of them that way. I dunno. Work on your colors. You put a lot of colors that don't match together. Overall, just keep working on it. Keep writing and designing your page over and over into new things, and soon you will get the webmasters eye. Thats when you start hating animated gifs everywhere and some of the other not good when too much things. Blah blah... I'm done.

Do a different background , either in CSS, or
<shudder> the HTML/XHTML bgcolor attribute </shudder>.
O, and ditch the awful 'second navigation' at the bottom.
