slow edit

The text editing seems slow. cpu/mem/OS +2GHz/1GB/XP

CPU usage pegs with some of the simplest actions and text
entry can lag considerably. Tolerable, but wondering if this is
common.

Have set update to 6 seconds.

perhaps try to set for quicker updating....I've heard of this similar issue on other machines and with this program's slow update I'm not sure if it will get fixed.

Same happens to me, VERY slow edit. However, sometimes it speeds up for no apparent reason! Where do I set the update speed?

I was wondering if it has anything to do with the automatic tag insertion?
