This very forum is using PHP, a very popular and very powerful scripting language, and yet the program that is the center of its focus doesn't have PHP support! Come on, guys, add it to your list and get with the program! :D

Of course, I'm right. I deal with PHP on a day-to-day basis, and having gotten at least a glimpse of some other scripting technologies (ASP using VBScript, Perl, etc.) I firmly believe that PHP stands out as an excellent contender in the field of internet programming.
I'm also perfectly aware of where Evrsoft got this software. I know enough about PHP that I've done digging on SourceForge and have seen it there.
All that aside, you're avoiding the issue. My point is not that Evrsoft should have PHP support because this forum uses PHP. I just find it funny that the editor has support for thing like ASP and Perl, and yet it's running forum software written in PHP, for which the editor doesn't have support.
My point is, why not have PHP support? PHP can run on a Windows server fairly easily. I myself have a Windows XP machine at home running the latest version of PHP, and it's awesome. I'd trade ASP/VBS for it any day!
I won't deny that Evrsoft has accomplished quite a bit in the editor already, but coming from a PHP background, don't you think I'd feel a bit offended by an editor supporting several major technologies EXCEPT the one that I use, though it probably stands above the others?

will evrsoft add more support to PHP coding in future releases??? PHP has become very popular nowadays and PHP syntax higlighting and scripts would be very apreciated!
Cheers, Ivan.

Yes, it would be nice for a start just to recognise the PHP bracketing tag in preview, so that HTML was interpreted in the preview.
The tag's recognised when editing, and subsequent HTML is properly highlighted, but not previewed.
Or is it that, as a new user, I've missed how to do this?
oh yeah php is really great!!! free for all and great software... doesn't this remember me on a great free text editor???:D :)
to be true: I WOULD PAY FOR PHP SUPPORT!!! why not opening a donation account at paypal? come on, evrsoft, i would instantly donate something for php syntax highlighting!!! :)
