I may be asking for the impossible but here goes. I need a web designer to design a site from scratch. It would involve the following: different levels of access, passwords, users can post information to a database, users can access information from the database, users pay for access by paying a subscription (thinking of paypal). We would have advertisers on the site also. I have no graphics or anything. Starting from scratch. Has to be highly secure because personal information would be available in the database. Yes we have talked to a lawyer about legalities, etc. Here is the main problem I have. I have no money to hire someone. I am wanting to find someone to be a partner for a portion of the profits.

A site with that much involved for free and without an idea behind what kind of profits and success goals is a major one. What would be the responsibility of the designer after its done? Any work etc, or just sit back and get 50 percent of the profits? Hmm, really hard to find someone to go into a venture like this out of the blue. A site like what you want of which is hard due that you don't have a clue in terms of ideas already (guessing its an online business) and not to mention take the site and run possibility, you are looking at a donation of perhaps, a good guess would be 8,000 plus for the whole site. Plus you need to find a good host where you can feel safe and that does not mean shared hosting if you have private data stored. Time to build is a factor as well. One has to pay the bills and thus a project like this would take time away for paying gigs as well. good luck in your quest.

Plus you might try guru.com and advertise for the job, that way you can find what you want.
